Meet the Maker

My name is Eren. I am the baker, maker, and owner behind Yellow Baking Delights.
I am self-taught and have been baking since I was 16 years old. I remember baking for my family, friends, and neighbors back home in
Long Beach, CA. Baking has been my hobby and passion for as far as I can remember.
It has always been a dream of mine to have my own bakery, but life happens, and my life career went a different path.
I was a phlebotomist for 13years,
I helped so many people, from working in hospitals and outpatient laboratories, I loved every moment of it. I've met so many amazing people throughout my career that became great friends.

During the day I work fulltime for an elementary school, at night I bake for special events and occasions.
I married my better half back in 2008, we have 2 wonderful boys and a fur baby girl "Kyra the husky" we adopted her after her previous owners weren't able to care for her. She is the best dog we ever had; we love her dearly. She is mammas sweet blue eye girl.
Yellow Baking Delights started in June of 2020 when the pandemic hit, and we were both laid off our jobs. Not knowing what could happen with all the chaos, with everything shutting down, baking was what brought back some happiness and light during this tough times. I was lucky enough that family, friends and friends of friends were ordering cakes, treats, DIY cookie kits during this time. Baking and creating during the pandemic made life easier, calm and happier.
We relocated to Texas in the summer of 2022. We fell in love with the city of Katy and decided this is where we'll continued to raise our boys. We have adjusted amazingly here; we love everything we've seen and the people we have met.
I believe there is so much more out there for Yellow Baking Delights that is why we decided to go full on making my dream come to life. With the support of my husband this gives me motivation on making this business shine and grow.
I can't wait to see what's in store for us and the business. I promise to offer the best quality and delicious baking goods.
